Last Play (02):
UZMA the Goblin helped Matilda, Farmer Brown’s wife, defeat the garlic-eating rabbits who were cursed by Baaron Von Krolock by throwing a magic carrot into Mama rabbit’s mouth. UZMA then becomes a member of the Patrol Guild of Silverdell just because, and received a cool horn. After speaking with Farmer Brown, UZMA heads off to Sterling Woods to fetch some animal intestines to make ropes and garlic, the tools needed to fight off the Wicked Vampire.
For those of you who are new, this is a summary of my playthroughs of Genesis MUD. It’s an old school fantasy rpg game, and it’s free to play online! I’ve created a small goblin character; UZMA, and will be uploading some collages of my playthrough from time to time. Here’s what UZMA accomplished this play:
- As the trees moan and groan around her, UZMA trembles slightly, realizing that Sterling Woods hasn’t been frequented by others for a good reason. She still, however, presses forward in search of the all-mighty garlic. And animal intestines.
- Searching every inch of the forest for the garlic, she comes across some broad silver leaves, Gargleroot, silverberries, and finally some garlic cloves! Next is animal intestines…
- UZMA disregards the puppy wolves, and goes for the wolves that surround her with blood-thirsty eyes, and buries each once she gathers everything she could from them. The best way to honor the creatures is to make use of every part of them, as her Mum always said.
- As the forest begins to dim, UZMA quickens her pace towards the broken bridge. She cannonballs into the river and swims as fast as she can to the other side. UZMA has had enough of this spooky forest!
- ACK!!! A huge current grabs her garlic cloves, UZMA screams bubbles in frustration. Perhaps a backpack would’ve been useful, instead of carrying everything in your arms like Rachel Ray.
- UZMA buys a backpack, gets the stupid garlic clove, and goes to Farmer Brown.
- Farmer Brown plants the garlic clove in his farm, and makes ropes out of the intestines for UZMA.
- Tired and sweaty from accomplishing her tasks, UZMA goes to the Henhouse to take a breather and pet the bunnies, and walks in to witnesses a horrible sight! A “Humble Hones Male Goblin” slaughtering innocent little rabbits… UZMA freezes in fear as the Male Goblin grins with every swing of his sword.
You’re killing innocent creatures!!!

- Not knowing what to do, UZMA turns around and runs away, with the image of one of her own people, with rabbit blood on his hands.
But then again, UZMA wonders, isn’t she doing the same thing as well?
